Visit to Adarsh Honey Public School, Indore (M.P.)

On 25/08/2025, Monday, I went to Adarsh Honey Public School, which is a school for the underprivileged, with my friends and teachers.
We went there by car. The road to school was muddy, and it was a narrow road. The students welcomed us with a round of applause.
We introduced ourselves to the children. We went there to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with them.

Our friend, Anuj, took the lead for exercises. The kids were following him.
We were giving challenges to them, like hop on one foot, say with mouth closed, and flip the bottle challenge. We asked them to sing a song. Then, it was our turn to take on challenges. They asked me to hold my toes and take a round. Paarth (my friend) was asked to tell the story of Ganesh Ji. Divyansh (My friend) was asked to dance.
The challenges that we did there were
- Try to lick your elbow.
- Give us your best sports commentator impression.
- Sing everything you want to say
- Jump on one foot.
- Do 20 push-ups.
- Balance a pen on your nose.
Some Girls were showing their dance performance, which they prepared for us, on stage. We showed our Ganesh Ji that we made from different materials like clay, rice, cardboard, Walnut peelers, acrylic colors, and painting colors. We also explained how we made it. We did Arti of Ganesh Ji. I distributed chocolates with Sakshi to them.
In classes, there were no tables, chairs, or cupboards. The lights were dim, the cleaning was not proper, and the wall paintings were removed.
I felt sad because we have electricity, a table, and a chair. We even have Wi-fi and an interactive panel. But they don’t have one of these. They don’t have cleaning material so that someone can clean their school. Some students came by walking from far. Some students go to the chorus in their family because their parents are out to do work.
We shared our opinions after we came back to school.
